Johannes Eichstaedt is a computational social scientist jointly appointed as a Shriram Faculty Fellow in Human-Centered AI and an Assistant Professor of Psychology. He analyzes large social text (Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc.) with NLP and AI to understand and measure psychological processes for individuals and populations.

The Emotion Physiology and Experience Collaboration: Developing a Dataset to End the “Hundred-Year Emotion War”
To demonstrate the feasibility of the activities in our NSF proposal, we want to use Propel Grant funding to (1) pilot a multi-site data collection effort, (2) pilot a “shared task” data release, and (3) finalize a team of collaborators and data release competitors.
